Application Engineer

Role Overview:

As an Application Engineer you will be at the forefront of designing building and enhancing our software applications. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure that our applications are highperforming reliable and aligned with business goals. Your technical expertise and problemsolving skills will be crucial in delivering effective solutions and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Create and implement software applications based on detailed requirements ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Work with development teams to integrate and deploy applications seamlessly.
• Coding & Testing: Write efficient maintainable code in languages such as Java C# Python or JavaScript. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure application quality.
• Optimization & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve application issues optimize performance and enhance functionality based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for application design development processes and technical specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices. Propose and implement improvements to enhance application performance and user experience.
• Support & Training: Provide technical support and training to endusers and internal teams ensuring smooth operation and effective use of applications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with application security practices.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
