What You Will Be Doing:

As a Fintube Helper you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the production process. Your duties include loading tubes into input racks using an overhead crane or by hand and operating a cutoff saw to cut tubes to specified lengths. You will also be involved in moving fintubes by hand into band molds and using a ladle to pour molten zinc metal into the molds to create bands on the fintubes. Once the molds have cooled you will open them and knock off the pouring basin with a hammer. Additionally youll lift the finished fintubes from output racks into shipping racks or crates break zinc ingots into smaller pieces to keep the zinc pots full of molten metal and skim slag off the molten metal using a strainer device.

Must Have Qualifications:

• Ability to load tubes into racks using an overhead crane or by hand.
• Experience operating a cutoff saw to cut tubes to specified lengths.
• Skill in moving fintubes into molds and pouring molten zinc to produce bands.
• Ability to safely handle molten metal and manage the cooling and finishing process.
• Proficiency in breaking zinc ingots into smaller pieces and maintaining zinc pots.
