Job Description
Registered Nurse Med / SurgNights
Selma Alabama
FullTime
$15K SignOn Bonus
Relocation Candidates Accepted
Shift 7 PM 7 AM
- Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatments
- Documents of patient care given
- Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team physician patient and family
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living including personal hygiene elimination nutrition and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needsEvaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and
- provide patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional wellbeing of the patient
Our hospital is a 175bed acute care facility. This Joint Commissionaccredited hospital offers an extensive list of services including ICU a newly expanded 24hour Emergency Department Radiology a 64slice CT Scanner and a stateoftheart Eclipse 1.5 MRI station.
Must Haves:
- Graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN
- BLS certification is required. ACLS preferred
