Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specializes in relocating qualified professionals throughout Ireland and overseas we guide you through professional registration job placement visa and employment permit processing.

We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are central to all we do.
We are hiring an Assistant Care Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Dublin Ireland.
This is a Fulltime position 39 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct onthespot inspections with community healthcare assistants
  • To perform client evaluations of the ongoing care they are receiving
  • You can engage in productive communication and collaboration about HIQA and incident management with the Quality and Compliance team.
  • To assist coordinators with unfinished business or urgent responsibilities when necessary
  • Must participate in team checkins every week as needed
  • To perform any other appropriate tasks as needed
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal abilities and a humanistic outlook on others



Requirements

  • Must be a registered nurse (on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland NMBI) or eligible to be on the live register of nurses.

  • Six years of appropriate postregistration nursing experience is required.

  • Must have at least three years of relevant experience (within the last six years) providing elder care.

  • Must have at least three years of management or supervisory experience (within the last six years) including team leadership and resource planning and allocation at the CNM level or above.

  • Effective communication skills with residents family members/visitors staff management and other organizations such as doctors offices hospitals HSE HIQA etc. are essential.

  • Must possess postregistration certification in healthcare management gerontology or dementia care or be willing to obtain the corresponding qualifications.
