Job Description
Paramedicine is a domain of practice and health profession that specialises across a range of settings including but not limited to emergency and primary care. Paramedics work in a variety of clinical settings such as emergency medical services ambulance services hospitals and clinics as well as nonclinical roles such as education leadership public health and research. Paramedics possess complex knowledge and skills a broad scope of practice and are an essential part of the healthcare system. Depending on location paramedics may practice under medical direction or independently often in unscheduled unpredictable or dynamic settings.
EMT Job description:
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) provides urgent medical care to patients in emergency situations and is also responsible for driving the ambulance. This role requires quick decisionmaking physical stamina and the ability to work under pressure
Qualifications
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS) experience and certification
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to assess and prioritize patients in emergency situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Capability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document medical information
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks
- Fluency in Arabic and English languages
- Experience in prehospital healthcare or related field is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CPR ACLS PALS and ITLS are beneficial
Qualifications:
- 1diploma degree in emergency medical services specialist (emergency medical technician) Courses: BLSEVOC
- Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to assess and prioritize patients in emergency situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Capability to remain calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to accurately document medical information
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks
- Fluency in English language
- Experience in prehospital healthcare or related field is a plus
