Qualifications

• Masters or doctoral degree in Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy Mental Health Counseling or Psychology from an accredited institution
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW LMHC or LMFT in the state
• Expertise in evidencebased treatment modalities for mood disorders such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals
• Proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in treating mood disorders
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Conducting intake assessments to evaluate clients mental health concerns strengths and needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
• Providing individual group and family therapy using evidencebased modalities such as cognitivebehavioral therapy (CBT) dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) or solutionfocused therapy
• Monitoring and documenting clients progress in therapy adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists primary care physicians or case managers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
• Advocating for clients rights and access to appropriate mental health services and community resources
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards of practice as outlined by state licensing boards and professional organizations
