Nipromec Group is an international consulting and engineering company founded in 2003. We offer design and consulting services for multiple industries with emphasis on energy and construction. We are now looking for a Senior Project Cost Controllerfor a project in Lund Sweden for our client ESS. The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (ERIC). The European Spallation Source is one of the largest science and technology infrastructure projects being built today. The facility design and construction include the most powerful linear proton accelerator ever built. The vision is to build and operate the worlds most powerful neutron source enabling scientific breakthroughs in research related to materials energy health and the environment and addressing some of the most important societal challenges of our time.
The position is scheduled to start ASAP. The estimated duration of the project is 12 months with the possibility of extension. Please note that this job requires 100% onsite presence in the office in Lund Sweden.
As a Senior Project Cost ControllerKey roles and responsibilities will include:
Support of Project Management to maintain project costs work breakdown structure control account structure and associated techniques to appropriately monitor control and report on delivery of the project to schedule and cost. The Cost Engineer will independently manage interrogate and maintain costs on designated work scopes with the ability to positively change and constantly strive for improvements
- We expect:
- Experience within major EPCC Projects Relevant experience in Project Controls and Project Delivery and ability to share best practice.
- High level understanding of Earned Value Management and associated analysis
- Budget management distribution cost collection and forecasting experience
- Detailed working proficiency using Excel
- Experience of working with P6 Data
- Experience in liaising with Finance Department and ERP / Accounting Systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and communication skills
- Member of APM / ACostE
Who are we looking for someone who: - Have very good communication skills both orally and in writing
- Has a strong drive/delivery mentality
- Can understand the context/larger picture
- Have a strong ability to plan organise execute followup
- Are strategic and agile with the ability to challenge procedures and processes to optimise delivery
- SpeaksEnglish and preferably Swedish both orally and in writing
