Venture Capital Intern

Failup Ventures is hiring an offseason intern to join the team in the Fall. Were looking for a person to join the team as soon as possible and stay with the team until December 31 2024 in Helsinki.

This is an unique opportunity for up and coming talent to get a glimpse into the venture capital world and learn about international investing and fund strategies. At Failup we invest in startups across the Nordics as well as in the United States.

Tasks

Your job is to analyze potential investments and assist the team members with their analyses and startup deals. You will do background research market and competitor analysis. Youll also get to participate in the meetings with startups on a daily basis. You will get to represent Failup Ventures in various events especially during the Slushseason.

To succeed in this position you need to have a close eye for detail and an understanding of the current status of technology markets and above all a genuine interest in startups and earlystage companies. We also expect the following from the intern:

• Curiosity for the techdriven world and new innovations
• Analytical thinking skills a systematic approach and creativity
• Excellent interaction and collaboration skills and enthusiasm for customer service
• A positive and openminded attitude and an eagerness for continuous selfdevelopment
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Experience with startups Slush or other experience in student entrepreneurship organizations is considered to be an advantage.

We dont want your background education to limit any of your choices and welcome students from all university backgrounds. Most important is that you to have a intrinsic interest towards venture capital tech and the startup world.

Monthly salary range for this internship position is between 2000 to 3500 depending on experience and timecommitment. This position is open for both parttime and fulltime employees. Please indicate your interest in this regard in the application
