Job Description
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the CBSE English curriculum.
- Prepare engaging and interactive teaching materials including visual aids handouts and other resources.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes active learning.
- Assess student learning through quizzes tests assignments and other forms of evaluation.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to update them on their childs progress and address any concerns.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on best practices in English language teaching and pedagogy.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for students demonstrating professionalism integrity and respect for diversity.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Teacher certification or licensure as required by the state or country.
- Previous experience teaching English language and literature at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Handling for 9 12 Classes
