Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Physician to join our team in the Heart of Pennsylvania for 3 months of coverage!
In this role you will be accountable for treating both scheduled and walkin workrelated injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preplacement DOT public safety and surveillance physical examinations (preferred but not required)
- Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walkin basis
- Perform inoffice procedures as needed
- Communicate with employers to provide medical guidance and recommendations
- Exhibit welcoming skillful and respectful behaviors at all times
- Complete all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner
- **Must be comfortable seeing pediatric patients 2 yrs and up plus adults**
Assignment Duration: As soon as credentialed through the end of November.
Requirements
Occupational Medicine Experience: Highly desired
Proficient in officebased procedures: Required
Urgent Care Experience: Nice to have
DOT certified: Highly desired
Ability to treat autonomously: Required
Occupational Medicine Experience: Highly desired (1 year) Urgent Care Experience: Nice to have (1 year) DOT Certified: Highly desired OR Must obtain DOT certification within 45 days of hire. Ability to Treat Autonomously: Required Board Certification or Eligibility in Primary Care or Related Field: Highly desired Ability to work in multiple locations within the East Bay Area.
