Job Description
Our client a world leader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for a "Buyer/ Planner" based out of Tucson AZ.
Pay Rate: $27/hr on W2
Buying and Planning:
- Perform regular tasks to meet production objectives.
- Place and confirm purchase orders to support manufacturing.
- Negotiate with suppliers to resolve issues and expedite deliveries.
- Maintain accurate planning and purchasing data.
- Ensure efficient supply chain operations through routine housekeeping tasks.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Work with individuals across all levels within suppliers.
- Communicate effectively to address and prevent problems.
- Coordinate discussions for timely implementation of change orders.
- Interface with Manufacturing Quality and Accounts Payable for various tasks.
- Proactively escalate issues to Procurement with necessary information.
Quality:
- Comply with FDA and Quality Systems requirements.
- Complete all required training on time.
Continuous Improvement:
- Visit supplier facilities for improvement initiatives.
- Communicate potential improvements for cost savings and efficiency.
Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

- Strong organizational skills attention to detail initiative selfmotivation accountability flexibility strong work ethic and willingness to speak up.
Availability:
- Occasionally required to attend on weekends holidays after hours and during emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in related field with 15 years of experience
