Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities focusing on ABA and MD.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in both individual and group settings.
• Utilize ABA techniques to improve social communication and learning skills.
• Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers support staff and parents to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of student performance and behavior.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters student growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification.
• Experience with ABA techniques and strategies.
• Knowledge of best practices for teaching students with multiple disabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
