Job Description

About the Role:
Are you looking for a step up in Project value, and to work on exciting, interesting, diverse Commercial Construction projects? We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a well-known construction team working on medium to large-scale projects valued between $10 million and $40 million. The role involves managing contracts and subcontracts, ensuring the smooth financial and contractual administration of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, including scope of works.
  • Administer project contracts, variations, progress claims, and cost control.
  • Assist with budget management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFIs, claims, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, Site Teams, and stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and maintain effective communication.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure all obligations are met.
Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in construction projects between $10M and $40M.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and commercial management.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
