Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Fayetteville NC
Salary: $56000 $98000 per year (based on experience)
Shifts: 12hour shifts available (Days Evenings or Nights)

Job Summary:

We are partnering with a hospital in Fayetteville NC to find a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This role involves delivering highquality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit with opportunities to take on charge nurse responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Develop implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' physical psychological and spiritual needs ensuring care is tailored to each patient's specific requirements.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities when assigned overseeing the work of nursing staff and ensuring quality care delivery.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including documentation of nursing interventions and patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team providing education and support as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication.
• Effective organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of agespecific physiological psychosocial developmental and spiritual needs of Med/Surg patients.
• Ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods; may involve contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials.
• Visual and auditory acuity required for patient observation and communication.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
