Our client a luxury Chinese Restaurant, in London is seeking a Chinese speaking Chef de Partie (CDP). The Restaurant stands out as a leader in luxury Chinese cuisine and looking to be at the forefront of award-winning dining. The client is offering a salary between 29000 to 35,000 plus bonuses depending on experience with a range of additional benefits!

What Does the Role Entail?

Step into a pivotal role as a passionate and hands-on Chef (CDP) working 10- or 12-hour shifts on a 5-day week working no more than 48 hours. You'll be the main force working as part of the main restaurant team, ensuring culinary excellence in the Client's renowned site. You'll play a vital role in maintaining high standards, contributing to the world of fine dining with dedicated approach to customer care and service. The client's restaurants are led by excellent head chefs, and they will teach you creativity, precision, and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What skills will you have?

Ideally, you will have prior experience in a similar role as a CDP in a Chinese restaurant or have the knowledge of Asian cuisine , to give you an understanding of the restaurant's specific demands. While appreciating tradition, you should exhibit a forward-thinking mindset and adaptability to the demands of a high-volume operation. Your proven expertise in Restaurant practices, including organisational skills, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skill set, will be key to your success. A creative and innovative mindset, coupled with exceptional communication skills especially in Mandarin or Cantonese are qualities the client values in the ideal candidate.
