Head Of IT

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT to join our team in Munich Germany. This role offers a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work from home two days a week while spending three days in the office.

As the Head of IT you will be responsible for designing managing and developing the IT infrastructure across all Vantis locations including our headquarters clinics and practices. Your focus will be on creating modern and efficient solutions that align with our growing needs. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring IT security and working closely with our Regulatory Team to address compliance issues.

In this position you will have the unique opportunity to build and lead an IT team from the ground up combining internal and external resources to ensure smooth IT operations. You will also support our development team in delivering digital products and services that make a difference in the healthcare sector.

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can take a handson approach to building and scaling the IT team. You should be methodical in managing tasks and projects with the ability to develop a longterm strategic IT setup that aligns with our company goals. A goaloriented mindset is crucial as you will be focused on achieving targets and overcoming challenges in a dynamic fastpaced startup environment.

You will be the first hire in the internal IT department and will report directly to the CTO. You will work closely with the Tech Team the Head of Regulatory and the Praxen Operations Team collaborating across all Vantis employees and clinical facilities.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from 70000 to 95000 per year along with participation in our Virtual Stock Option Program (VSOP). The role is openended with the option to work 40 hours per week though we are open to 35 hours if that suits your needs better. We also provide 28 vacation days and a 6month probation period to ensure the right fit.

The hiring process will begin with an initial virtual chat to introduce you to the role followed by a personal fit interview to assess cultural and team compatibility. We will then invite you onsite for a case interview along with two additional interviews focused on technical and strategic aspects. Finally we will make our decision and extend an offer.

If you have strong IT infrastructure experience a strategic mindset and the ability to lead and scale a team in a startup environment we would love to hear from you. Proficiency in MS365 MDM tools like Intune network management security tools and backup solutions such as Acronis or Veem is essential. Experience with ISO 27001 and fluency in both German and English (C1 level) are also required.
