Registered Nurse - Recovery

HireNow Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Recovery to join a highly respected healthcare facility in Las Cruces New Mexico. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated RN to work in a fastpaced recovery unit providing highquality care to patients during critical phases of their medical journey.

Salary: $63731.00 $82000.00

Signing Bonus: Yes ($20000)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide postoperative and recovery care to patients following surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition ensuring a safe and smooth recovery process.
• Administer medications and pain management treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families about postoperative care and recovery plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to established protocols policies and safety standards in the recovery unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of New Mexico or ability to obtain.
• BSN degree preferred though ASN with relevant experience considered.
• Minimum of 12 years of nursing experience with a focus on recovery or postoperative care preferred.
• BLS ACLS certifications required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple patients and tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and advocacy.

Join our clients team in a 16bed PACU/Recovery unit located on the 1st floor with a nursetopatient ratio of 1:2. We are staffed with RNs CNAs and unit secretaries providing specialized care for preoperative patients from general surgery bariatrics surgery orthopedic and urological procedures. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced monitoring technology to deliver highquality patient care and ensure optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population.
