Summary

• Department: Surgery
• Shift Timings: 06:0014:30 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours)
• Per Week: 40 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

• Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
• Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
• Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
• Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
• Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
• Tracking surgical supplies.
• Staying uptodate on surgical technology medical terminology and procedures.
• Working well with surgeons surgical assistant nurses and general surgical team.
• Helping provide great patient care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Call: rotating weekday and weekend call shifts; Holiday: call hours
• Need at least 2 years of ST experience in cardiothoracic (required) and prefer additional experience in robotic and general service lines
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
