Nurse Practitioner

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care within the facility.
• Evaluate diagnose and treat inmates with various medical conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in health education programs and promote preventive care measures.

Essential Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner license valid in the state of Colorado.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• DEA Valid in the state of Colorado
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience in correctional nursing or a similar healthcare setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with mental health challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Experience in managing chronic medical conditions and providing preventive care.

• Flexible day shift schedules
• Hourly compensation up to $77/hr DOE (speak with our recruiters for travel requirements and rates)
• Contractor position
