Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic research and development team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing automation solutions for our automotive products. The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and executing automation frameworks and test scripts that ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. This position requires strong technical expertise in programming and testing methodologies particularly with Java Appium and Selenium.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation frameworks for various projects within the automotive domain.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java Appium and Selenium.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and establish testing strategies.
- Perform thorough regression testing and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on test coverage defects and improvement areas.
- Mentor and lead junior engineers in best practices for automation frameworks.
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new automation tools and technologies to enhance testing processes.
Requirements
- BTech in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation testing and frameworks along with strong programming skills in Java.
- Indepth knowledge of Appium and Selenium for mobile and web application testing.
- Proven experience with continuous integration tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development processes and testdriven development.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
