Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a Project Superintendent to manage daily site operations for roadway construction while ensuring compliance with FDOT specifications and safety standards. Key responsibilities include addressing issues providing guidance preparing progress reports and maintaining documentation. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor s degree in construction management or a related field proven experience in roadway construction and FDOT projects strong leadership skills and OSHA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations on the construction site including scheduling resource allocation and coordination of subcontractors.

Ensure projects are executed according to FDOT specifications plans and local regulations.

Ensure all work meets FDOT standards and specifications including quality control and safety requirements.

Address any issues or discrepancies promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.

Provide guidance training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company and FDOT standards.

Prepare and submit regular progress reports including updates on project status challenges and milestones.

Ensure all project documentation is properly filed and accessible for review by FDOT and other relevant parties.

Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders including clients FDOT representatives and community members.

Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.

Identify potential issues and challenges proactively and develop solutions to address them effectively.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree in construction management or a related field preferred.

Proven experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar role with a strong background in roadway construction and FDOT projects.

Indepth knowledge of FDOT regulations standards and construction practices.

Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

OSHA certification and other relevant safety training.
