Sales Estimator

White Raven Resourcing Ltd are acting as a recruitment agency for permanent recruitment services.

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of architectural fa ence and terracotta for both restoration and new build delivering their product across the UK USA Australia and UAE with an impressive project portfolio which includes Natural History Museum Royal Albert Hall Savoy Hotel Harrods and many more.

Well respected within the restoration and new build industry our client has developed a reputation for providing outstanding levels of workmanship with a large proportion of work from repeat business clients.

Due to their impressive order book they are now looking to expand the team in their Estimating Department.

As a Senior Sales Estimator you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects by providing accurate cost estimates liaising with the architect/client on their project/proposal.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the companys continued growth and success.

Requirements

Youll be a proven surveyor or estimator with previous experience in the construction/restoration sector working with main contractors within a similar field such as stonework and cladding.

Youll need to possess strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail utilise your excellent communication and negotiating skills be good with people and be commercially aware.

Youll be proficient in estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite and can work effectively in a fastpaced environment meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for restoration and new build projects
  
• Analyse project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements/quantities
  
• Conduct site/client visits to gather necessary information for cost estimates
  
• Collaborate with project managers architects and engineers.
  
• Ensure estimates are in line with surveyors takeoffs
  
• Reporting to the Sales Director and working closely with both the Contracts Director and Production Team to ensure an effective handover of a project once it becomes live.
