Graduate Electronics Engineer Southampton

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Graduate Electronics Design Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in Southampton.

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial computer systems for use in a broad range of industries worldwide. As a key contributor you will apply your academic knowledge to realworld PCB design projects working on cuttingedge technologies and developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate who is passionate about PCB design and eager to learn and grow in their career.

The Role:

  • Design and develop highquality printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various electronic products.
  • Utilise industrystandard PCB design software (e.g. Altium Designer) to create schematics layouts and component placement.
  • Ensure PCB designs meet project requirements industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure PCB designs align with circuit functionality and performance goals.
  • Participate in PCB prototype development and testing to identify and resolve design issues.
  • Prepare documentation for PCB designs including manufacturing files and assembly instructions.

The Person:

  • This is an ideal position for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in electronics and a passion for PCB Design and technology.
  • The successful candidate should possess a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field.
  • We are looking for a proactive and selfmotivated individual who can thrive in a fastpaced environment and can take ownership of their work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with crossfunctional teams and effectively conveying technical information.

  • The advertised salary is a guide and is negotiable based on experience.
  • Working hours 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday
  • Free onsite parking available
