This department has fulltime parttime and oncall openings and is hiring for all three. Flexibility to match your scheduling needs.

The Echocardiograph Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound examinations according to physicians orders utilizing a variety of complex ultrasound equipment. Objectively identifies the presence or absence of disease utilizing a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Assists physicians with more invasive echocardiography examinations including but not limited to Transesophageal echocardiography Transcatheter echoguided procedures (location specific) pericardiocentesis echoguided myocardial biopsies (location specific) contrastenhanced exams exercise and pharmacological stress echocardiography. Has the ability to modify procedures to meet special circumstances and/or provide clinically useful information on a costeffective basis.

Must Haves:

• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer
• Upon hire: National Registered Cardiac Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire: National Advanced Cardiac Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International Or
• Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS American Heart Association
  

Preferred:

• Associates degree: Applied Science from a CAAHPEaccredited school in Noninvasive Cardiovascular Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• One year: Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations OR Minimum of 800 exams using all imaging modalities available
• Pediatric echocardiography experience
• Familiarity with imaging support of advanced heart failure patients (mechanical support devices)
• Experience with echoguided transcatheter procedures
