Schedule: MF 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (No weekends)
Employment Duration: 13 weeks contract
Pay Rate: $5557/hr.

Summary

Demonstrates competency in physical therapy for pediatric adult and/or geriatric patients. The incumbent provides patient assessments develops and implements individual patient treatment programs provides therapeutic interventions utilizing current and effective methodologies and maintains effective documentation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform a complete initial evaluation on a patient.
• Ability to develop a thorough plan of care for the patient.
• Provide constant communication with administrative staff and technicians regarding patient plan of care and overall patient management.
• Interface with physicians and medical personnel to ensure proper patient treatment.
• Ability to understand variables in Physical Therapy treatment to ensure maximum treatment results with consideration of appropriate plan of care financial considerations and patient time constraints.
• Develop and maintain most current knowledge of PT techniques and new ideas in PT.
• Promote and encourage of the knowledge of PT in the community with patients and medical community.
• Develop appropriate home exercise program for patients and communicate this information to the exercise technicians.
• Utilize evidence informed treatment options for maximum patient outcomes

Required Licensure Certification Etc.:

• Years of Experience: 2 years recent experience in acute care PT.

• Certifications: CA License BLS COVID Vaccine
