Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented HVAC System Design Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and estimating HVAC systems for domestic installations performing heat load calculations and creating precise installation plans. You will work closely with the sales team to tailor heating and cooling solutions to meet clients needs manage project documentation and ensure that all designs align with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and estimate HVAC systems for domestic installations.
- Perform heat load calculations specific to building requirements.
- Create accurate and detailed installation plans using Plandroid.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align designs with client expectations.
- Prepare material takeoffs and detailed project quotes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation in Simpro.
- Engage in ongoing product training and research to stay current with industry advancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering HVAC Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 25 years of experience in HVAC system design.
- Proficiency with design software (Plandroid AutoCAD) and project management tools (Simpro).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and heat load calculations.
- Certifications such as EPA or NATE are preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
