Job Description
Adelphi is seeking a physician assistant (PA) to provide care to patients at a correctional facility in Henrico Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive substance use disorder services to the inmate population among other duties.

Requirements:
Active VA License
BC/BE
DEA certificate
Experience providing substance use disorder services
Responsibilities:
Provide substance use disorder services to inmates.
Manage detox for nonopioid users.
Manage Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid users.
Prescribe as needed medications for new inmates currently on MAT.
Keep accurate and uptodate medical records documenting assessments treatment plans and progress notes in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Independently resolve daily medical issues.
Work effectively within a correctional setting demonstrating professionalism and adherence to facility protocols.
Other duties as assigned.
