Job Description

As a QA Engineer you will collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to define and create test cases. You will execute these test cases using QA best practices and various testing tools including Postman Katalon and manual methods. Additionally you will organize update and maintain existing test cases. Creating comprehensive test plans for regression release smoke tests project testing and more will also be a key part of your role.

Your Key Role in Healthcare Connectivity

• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to define and create test cases.
  
• Execute test cases using QA best practices and the appropriate means of testing (Postman Katalon manual).
  
• Organize update and maintain existing test cases.
  
• Create test plans for regression release smoke tests project testing and more.
  
• Execute test plans.
  
• Participate in story estimations. Ability to assess QA effort and approach quickly.
  
• Participate and provide meaningful updates in a daily standup.
  
• Provide QA analysis during requirements gathering and provide meaningful input to the team.
  
• Execute review and maintain automated test results in Katalon Studio and Postman.
  
• Create new automated tests in Katalon Studio.
  
• Create API tests in Postman.
  
• Prioritize test efforts based on risk and costbenefit analysis to provide maximum testing value for time available.
  
• Release night smoke testing once every 2 weeks at around 10PM EST.
  

Requirements

Perfect Fit for Healthcare Innovation

• 3 years experience with QA experience.
  
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
  
• Advanced proficiency manually testing user stories bugs and regression testing.
  
• Proficiency with a ticketing system (Jira or equivalent).
  
• Proficiency with test case management software (QAlity or equivalent).
  
• Proficiency with API testing in Postman.
  
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for validating results.
  
• Proficiency with writing organizing and maintaining end to end tests using Katalon Studio.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
