Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership & Management:

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to manage and deliver engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Serve as the Engineer of Record ensuring technical excellence from initial planning through to project completion.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to develop comprehensive project scopes budgets and schedules while maintaining flexibility to adapt to client needs.

Technical Expertise & Innovation:

  • Drive the planning analysis and design of water and wastewater treatment plants distribution systems and collection systems including innovative retrofits of existing facilities.
  • Spearhead master planning and hydraulic modeling efforts to develop robust futureready infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to improve project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies contractors and other stakeholders to navigate complex project requirements smoothly.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events positioning yourself as a thought leader in water and wastewater engineering.

Team Mentorship & Development:

  • Mentor junior engineers fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Provide guidance on complex engineering challenges helping to elevate the skills and expertise of the entire team.
  • Encourage a collaborative approach to problemsolving where team members are empowered to contribute ideas and innovate.


Requirements


  • Degree: Bachelor s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABETaccredited program (Master s preferred).
  • Experience: 6 years of handson experience in water/wastewater engineering with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas (required).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in water and wastewater treatment distribution systems and hydraulic modeling.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience managing teams and mentoring junior staff.
  • ProblemSolving: Ability to anticipate challenges propose creative solutions and drive successful outcomes.
