IT SupportEngineer
As an IT Support Engineer you will be the primary point of contact for resolving ITrelated issues within a hybrid working environment. Your expertise will ensure minimal downtime and enhance productivity for our users. This role involves a balance of technical troubleshooting user support and collaboration across teams.

Objectives & Responsibilities:
Rovco is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:
First Line Support:- Respond to user inquiries via phone email or ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues.
- Assist users with login problems password resets and account setups.
Incident Management:- Log track and escalate issues using our ticketing system.
- Prioritize incidents based on severity and impact on business operations.
Hardware and Software Support:- Install configure and maintain desktops laptops printers and peripherals.
- Manage software applications via MDM and RMM tools.
Network Support:- Troubleshoot network connectivity for wired and wireless connections.
- Set up and configure routers switches and firewalls.
Documentation:- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Create and update knowledge base articles.
User Training and Education:- Provide training on IT systems and applications.
- Promote IT security and data protection best practices.
Collaboration and Communication:- Work with IT team members to resolve complex issues.
- Communicate with endusers to gather necessary information for issue resolution.

- Proven experience as a 1st/2nd Line Support Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of Windows device management and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS DHCP).
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Customeroriented with a patient and positive attitude.
- Willingness to travel for vessel mobilization as needed.
- Ability to work independently.
