Job Description

5year experience engineering solutions with IBM Tivoli Netcool Suite
Netcool Omnibus Message bus probe/gateway experience
Netcool Omnibus probe rule writing including regular expression.
Apache Kafka Ecosystem including messaging log aggregation.
Fault tolerant and high availability design experience
Unix background
ITRS Geneos / Kafka integration understanding.
Netcool Impact Policy writing experience a plus
XML experience a plus
A good knowledge of the following would also be beneficial:
Dynatrace Splunk Enterprise including the
deployment instrumentation and leveraging of the tool for
analytical and alerting capabilities Proven
experience with supporting monitoring tools such as
Tivoli Microfocus BPM Sitescope Dynatrace Catchpoint etc. Knowledge
of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services
processing monitoring shell scripts etc. Proven
experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET)
Proven experience in application/network performance
and availability monitoring Proven experience in NTier
Architecture supporting a multitude of products
(Webserver Middleware Database etc.) Knowledge of
ITIL functions and processes
