Job Description
Our client is one of the largest wooden pallet service providers in the AsiaPaciifc Region. This position will be based in West Java and handle 4 depots across Cikarang Semarang Surabaya and Tangerang.
- Comply to Occupational Health and Safety policies and ensure safety and health environment in the workplace at all times.
- Develop and follow Country Business plans to grow profitability and meet the overall expectations of Regional / Corporate Management. Grow volume and revenue (including price increase) to meet or exceed agreed targets.
- Structure build and enhance customer relationships to maximise customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Drive and develop pallet pooling working together with customers and stakeholders in the industry
- Ensure timely customer equipment transfer data entry administration and reconciliation process and receivables collections.
- Drive productivity in order to maximise resource utilization. Plan lead manage and monitor resources on a daytoday basis.
- Control costs and maintain a focus on strategic initiatives including customers new products and market opportunities.
- Set performance and personal development plans for direct reports and monitor on a 6 and 12month basis.
- Communicate initiatives to the Country team comprising Sales & Customer Service Operations & Finance in a way that produces positive outcomes. Effectively foster a culture of Teamwork across the workforce.
- Achieve applicable Quality Standards.
- Manage procurement process to ensure quality products and services are purchased at reasonable costs.
Requirements
- Proven leadership skills within a divisional and/or country Management environment preferably in a logistics environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills possessing an ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the Business.
- Be a committed loyal and trustworthy selfmotivated individual with a proven ability to manage functional responsibilities.
- Possess openness to ideas able to demonstrate an ability to initiate change and influence others.
- Be a selfstarter possessing a passion for excellence and a proven ability to initiate change and continuously seek improvement.
- Computer literate.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
