We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Physician to join our team in the East Bay Area for a temporary assignment. In this role you will be accountable for treating both scheduled and walkin workrelated injuries and urgent care patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat workrelated injuries
Perform preplacement DOT public safety and surveillance physical examinations
Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walkin basis
Perform inoffice procedures as needed
Communicate with employers to provide medical guidance and recommendations
Exhibit welcoming skillful and respectful behaviors at all times
Complete all documentation in a timely and appropriate manner
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until the last patient is treated. Must be willing to float to 4 East Bay centers
Assignment Duration: August 26th through the end of November.
Requirements
Occupational Medicine Experience: Highly desired (1 year)
Urgent Care Experience: Nice to have (1 year)
DOT Certified: Highly desired OR Must obtain DOT certification within 45 days of hire.
Ability to Treat Autonomously: Required
Board Certification or Eligibility in Primary Care or Related Field: Highly desired
Ability to work in multiple locations within the East Bay Area.
