Job Summary:

The HR Coordinator supports the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting onboarding employee record maintenance and payroll processing. This role ensures HR initiatives are administered efficiently and effectively providing excellent service to employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads screening resumes scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate
  • communication.
  • Conduct background checks and reference checks for potential employees.
  • Prepare offer letters employment contracts and other related documents.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires including organizing orientation sessions and preparing new employee files.

2. Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records both physical and electronic.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and company requirements for recordkeeping.
  • Handle employee data changes such as promotions transfers and terminations.

3. Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  • Assist with payroll processing by collecting timesheet data verifying accuracy and addressing discrepancies.
  • Support administration including enrollment changes and answering employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate with finance and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payroll.

4. HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure company compliance with federal state and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist with internal audits and ensure HR files and records are properly maintained.

5. Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HRrelated matters.

  • Assist in resolving employee issues.

  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities such as teambuilding events and recognition programs.

6. Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and workshops for employees.

  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.

7. General HR Support:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including preparing reports presentations and correspondence.

  • Assist with special projects and HR initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (preferred).

  • 13 years of experience in an HR role preferably in a coordinator or administrative position.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Work Schedule: Night Shift (MF SatSun Off)

Work Setup: Onsite
