Job Summary:
The Fleet Sales Executive (Rental & PCO) is responsible for fleet customer prospecting sales and relationship account development to drive profitable sales and increase market share. This role requires close collaboration with fleet customers from the vehicle rental taxi and PCO sectors retailers and other relevant partners to ensure smooth operation of sales and supply always satisfying customer needs.
The successful candidate will have a strong B2B track record with excellent presentation and communication skills. Commercial awareness is a key requirement and Automotive sector specifically rental/PCO sales experience is welcomed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage customer relationships with regular meetings (both face to face and remote)
- Update and maintain customer records and contact cycles
- Complete sales tenders
- Collaborate with rental and PCO customers retailers and partners to establish and maintain sales and relationships ensuring BYD is competitively positioned by analysing whole life costs and successfully positioning BYD models competitively
- Identify new business opportunities and follow through to fruition
- Work with UK Fleet Sales Managers to maximise sales and customer satisfaction
- Represent BYD at fleet events such as regional test drives exhibitions and static presentation days at customer premises
- Accurate forecasting
- Achievement of annual sales target in line with business plan
Qualifications/Experience:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Degree or equivalent relevant B2B sales experience
- Proven experience in fleet sales program management within the automotive industry or related fields with knowledge of the rental & PCO sales industry sectors regulations and best practices is not essential but preferred
- A self starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines and possesses decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to establish productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and strong negotiation skills.
- A go getter target chaser and high achiever with a cando attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
- Strong team collaboration with the capacity to work as part of the wider team to achieve common goals and effectively coordinate and communicate in crossfunctional collaborations.
- Willingness to travel as required to conduct business meetings and negotiations with fleet companies and partners sometimes at weekends/evenings as required by the business.
- Someone who has a high level of attention to detail and ensures their communications are always on point
