Job Summary:
As a Data Entry Operator at Ricci & Associates you will be responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining information in our databases and systems. Your role is essential in ensuring that our records are precise uptodate and easily accessible for client services and internal operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth flow of information across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry:
- Enter and update client information insurance policy details and other relevant data into company databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Verify and correct data entries to ensure all information is accurate and complete.
- Maintain data integrity by following standard procedures for data entry and quality checks.
- Documentation Management:
- Organize and manage digital and physical files ensuring that all documentation is properly categorized and stored.
- Retrieve and provide information to other team members and departments as needed.
- Assist in scanning copying and filing documents related to client accounts and insurance policies.
- Data Quality Assurance:
- Perform regular audits of data to identify and correct any inconsistencies or errors.
- Work with team members to implement improvements in data entry processes and procedures.
- Ensure all data complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting:
- Generate and prepare reports from databases for management and other departments.
- Assist in compiling data for internal and external reporting purposes including regulatory compliance and client communications.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve datarelated issues and ensure data consistency across the organization.
- Provide general administrative support including responding to emails handling phone calls and assisting clients with inquiries as needed.
- Participate in special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data privacy.
- Basic understanding of insurance terminology and processes is advantageous.
