PHP Developer - Tebex

We re searching the farthest corners of the realm for a talented PHP Developer to join our energetic team at Tebex on a fulltime basis.

As the chosen one you ll be at the forefront of the UserGenerated Content (UGC) revolution where your work will have a tangible impact on the gaming community enabling creators to bring their visions to life. You will play (see what we did there) a crucial role in shaping our technical landscape driving innovation and using cuttingedge technology alongside passionate and talented individuals who share your enthusiasm. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our status as a market leader ensuring the continued high performance and security of our platform.

This role is a remotefirst position open to UK residents only.

In this role you will:

• Develop robust PHP code to build new features of varying complexity.
• Investigate and resolve complex bugs and maintain and refactor existing codebases.
• Offer assistance on technical support queries.
• Share your unique knowledge and experience with the development team through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Consider and implement security and performance best practices in all code you produce.
• Enhance the user experience by making thoughtful suggestions and improvements to projects.
• Create powerful PHP potions in the Tebex alchemy lab.

Requirements :

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• 3 years of experience with PHP and Laravel with a deep understanding of various development approaches and design patterns.
• Proficiency in automated testing (PHPUnit feature tests etc.).
• High standards and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Receptive to feedback and open to new ideas with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to overcome challenges.
• Excellent potion brewing and alchemy skills; experience in harvesting invisible salamanders is a serious plus.
