Operations planning Manager- Nahdi

Contribute in developing and Implementing strategies designed to maximize the return on investment through increasing overall logistics operations performance & service level and controlling inventory as well as DCs operation cost whilst developing implementing and monitoring annual financial (operational and inventory) plans.

Accountabilities

Logistics Operations Strategies:

• Develop Logistics optimization strategies through communicating with relevant stakeholders defining & setting operational parameters to ensure achieving division KPIs (shelf availability Unit Cost DC inventory turnover & inventory accuracy)
• Develop departments KPIs & lead the team to build department dashboards.

Logistics Operations Plans:

• Manage the development of operation plans and communicate it to concerned stakeholders to improve Logistics Operations efficiency & effectiveness.
• Enhance & ensure the accuracy of operations plan communicated to Logistics Operations team through collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders (DIM DC Operations Distribution Commercial IT etc.) to ensure better demand/order fulfilment decisions.
• Monitor the operational parameters and Logistics Operations Planning Supervisors implementation for related operations plans to ensure achievement of divisional & departmental objectives.
• Plan & Manage demand fluctuation Seasonality & Capacity Utilization through orders frequency & develop Crisis Management plans to assure smooth operation efficiency & high responsiveness.
• Clearly and proactively communicate potential supply chain operations interruptions Cuts Operations Cut offs to the respective supply chain parties. Interact with DC Operations Management team Distribution DIM & Commercial teams.

Capacity Management:

• Lead develop & monitor the different operational logics to continuously maximize ROI through ensuring max. utilization of DCs capabilities i.e. Docks locations applied technologies.
• Identify DC Capacity utilization gaps by developing monitor & analyzing DC capacity KPIs esp. in automation area to ensure maximizing ROI.

Inventory Management:

• Lead develop & monitor the different operational logics to continuously maximize ROI through ensuring max. utilization of DCs capabilities i.e. Docks locations applied technologies.
• Manage the cycle count parameters & monitor Inventory Controller Supervisors implementation for related DC monthly closing reports through ensuring all the monthly closing reports are finalized & submitted with Finance team.
• Develop & lead annual closing plan through engaging with Finance & IT teams & communicating it on regular basis to all concerned stakeholders.

WMS Reliability:

• Lead the team of Super users to ensure max. WMS reliability.
• Colead with IT to ensure developing & maintaining present & future systems that support Warehouse Operations.

Team Management:

• Manage the assigned team performance through providing coaching onjob training performance feedback and conversationsetc to ensure the achievement of the set objectives and the employees career development.
• Set the teams annual objectives and KPIs through cascading the departments SMART objectives and monitor the performance regularly to ensure the achievement of the Logistics operations objectives.
• Build Continuous improvement culture and ensure team engagement.
