Job Description

For an international Food Ingredients Distributor located in Europe and Africa we are looking for the

Country Manager /Geschftsfhrer Germany Ingredients Distrution

  • you are in charge of a team of a Team of 15: Technical Sales Managers Customer Service representatives Acountants exc
  • you act also as Country Manager/Team Leader and Technical Sales Manager for a product group
  • Products are valueadded products from wellknown suppliers
  • office based and home office based

Must have for this positon is:

  • Team Leading experience
  • Masters Degree in Food Technology
  • Ability to solve technological problems and the passion for developing food products
  • Deep knowledge of value added food Ingredients

Tasks

  • Develop commercial and product strategies for specified ingredients
  • Analyze the market and product range of our suppliers to find new potentials
  • Create strong relationships with our suppliers and customers
  • Visit customers analyze their needs create a value proposition
  • Attend production trials at customers / make smallscale trials in the application kitchen
  • project management in close cooperation with a dedicated Customer Service Manager
  • Align sales strategy for suppliers product groups under the supervision of Product managers and Country managers
  • Responsible for making market strategy purchasing and selling of assigned Productgroups in Germany
  • Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers
  • Visits of customers analysis of their needs creation of value propositions
  • Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of smallscale trials in the application kitchen
  • Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager
  • Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager
  • You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year.
  • Discover and understand customers needs and develop tailormade solutions
  • Conduct lab smallscale or industrial trials with customers
  • Follow up offers payments
  • Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts

Requirements

  • Degree in Food Technology Must have
  • Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development
  • exceptionally good communication negotiation and analytical skills
  • high willingness to travel
  • very organized reliable positive thinking
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have
  • you have a valid driving license Must have
