Devops Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Architect to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable reliable and efficient DevOps processes and practices across the organization. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance our CI/CD pipelines automate deployment processes and ensure that our applications and infrastructure meet the highest standards of performance security and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development systems administration and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Design & Implementation:
  • Design and implement endtoend DevOps solutions including CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation including system designs workflows and deployment processes.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve DevOps practices ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
• Collaboration & CrossFunctional Support:
  • Work closely with development QA and operations teams to streamline workflows and improve collaboration.
  • Facilitate communication between technical and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
  • Provide guidance and support for application deployment monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Automation & Monitoring:
  • Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline repetitive tasks reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application performance availability and security.
  • Conduct regular reviews of system performance and reliability implementing improvements as needed.
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
  • Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps cloud computing and software development.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance overall efficiency and reduce time to market.
  • Advocate for a culture of continuous improvement encouraging teams to adopt DevOps principles and practices.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development systems administration or DevOps roles with at least 3 years in an architectural or lead role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash Go Ruby) and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Chef Puppet).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
