Supply Chain Intern

Option 1:

The Global Supply Chain Operations Organization seamlessly connects markets to the global manufacturing network by centrally managing supply, inventory, and replenishment planning for Roche pharma products. We orchestrate the value streams between sites and affiliates by balancing the demand and supply equations across markets, products, manufacturing assets, and inventory points. We ensure the right-first-time order fulfillment and delivery of products everywhere and anytime in the global network.

Support the team with operational and analytical responsibilities

• Working with SAP and OMP, impacting Roche’s customer and packaging orders, and while doing so, putting the patient at the center of your work
• Support weekly and monthly KPI reporting, and root cause analysis, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will also be able to test and help implement new KPIs and have the chance to facilitate Team Meetings and Workshops
• Drive data analytics and proactively approach the team to flag inconsistency
• Collaboration with Internal cross-functional teams and Support the logistics with external partners (3PLs and Distributors..etc)

Option 2:

Support the Chief of Staff for the Global Supply Chain Chief of Staff within the scope of Communications and Project Management. Sitting within the Business Operations will allow a great helicopter view above the Supply Chain and Tech Ops organization allowing to learn about building cross-functional connectivities. The scope will include working on a communications strategy and engagement strategy across the Supply chain organization and allowing yourself to deep dive into the business acumen of Supply Chain.

Duration: Three months minimum from mid-July to September/October 2024. The positions will be either full or part-time, allowing students to continue with their university studies if needed.

Location: Egypt, Jordan, or Lebanon. The work format will be virtual/hybrid/remote depending on your proximity to the respective offices. Travel to Basel is expected. Please note that the candidate should have the necessary visas to allow travel in the EU or CH. If not, this should be communicated. Roche will cover all expenses.

Qualifications: Currently studying your bachelor's and master's degrees in High interest in getting to know the technical operations of the healthcare industry. Strategy, finance, and business acumen training (strong plus) and Experience with ERP (SD/MM) and supply chain planning systems is a plus. The ability to use Microsoft or Google applications such as Sheets, Strong Excel, and PowerPoint.
