This is anexciting and new role as Lead Nurse Manager for Nursing Operationswithin the Qatar Airways Medical Division. As the lead Nurse youwill be responsible for the clinical professional and managerialleadership for all nurses and services within thedivision.
Serviceswithin the division include the clinical specialties of AeromedicalPrimary Health Care Occupational Health and Health &Lifestyle Performance which are provided across a range offacilities based in DohaQatar.
The divisioncurrently provides the above services to Qatar Airways employeesand has future plans to expand new services & facilities inthe specialties of primary health occupational health and healthand lifestyle performance to become the provider of choice for allQatar Airwaysemployees.
Withthis in mind we are looking for an experienced nurse leader who notonly can lead and manage nursing staff but who is committed toensuring patients receive compassionate quality care by meetingsafety quality and professional standards highlighted in thenursing regulations and scope of practice of the State of Qatar andwho has the enthusiasm and energy to develop new services for thefuture.
Accountabilities :
• Lead the developmentof the professional nursing strategy in collaboration with GMDexecutive team ensuring that the nursing strategy supports themission and objectives of the overall MedicalService.
• Provide expert advice to the linemanager on professional nursing and related operational matters andcontribute to the implementation of the nursing and GMD strategicvision.
• Establish and maintain relationshipswith stakeholders ensuring effective communication within area ofresponsibility and within nursing teams acting as a role model forclinical leadership clinical engagement and patientadvocacy.
• Responsible for developing atransparent and collaborative communication strategy and structurefor the nursing teams ensuring regular monthly updates andcommunication briefs to teams.
• Develop incollaboration with the business procurement teams systems andprocesses for the centralized ordering of clinical equipmentsupplies and services in line with GMD procurementpolicy.
• Provide leadership as required ofclinical projects particularly those relating to improvement ofcare pathways and implementation of best practice to ensureenhancement of the patientsexperience.
• Accountable for the overallclinical and operational leadership of nursing services across GMDthat includes developing directing and assuring the delivery ofcosteffective quality nursing care for allpatients.
