Job Description

Please note that we are open to candidates who need flexible start and finish times we support school working hours. Ideal candidate would be able to commit to set days throughout the week i.e. 4 set days working 4 hours each day.

Key purpose of the job:

The ideal candidate will join our experienced team reporting into the Payroll Manager. You will be primarily responsible for assisting with the smooth running of the payroll process by ensuring timely processing of timesheets ensuring pay is processed on time accurately and in line with government regulations as well as finance administrative tasks.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Payroll:

Collating and checking timesheets
Inputting overtime and holiday average information
Processing additional payments and deductions
Maintaining and checking sickness records sicknotes and SSP.
Collating company vehicle information for employees Benefits in Kind
Replying to queries that come through in a timely manner
Responsible for adhering to GDPR at all times
Ad Hoc projects within payroll
Finance:

Raising of credit notes and production of analysis report
Dispatch of sales invoices
Petty cash reconciliation
Check expenses claims
General admin tasks
Essential Requirements for the job:

Previous experience in a similar role.
High level of numeracy accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Payroll software.
Ability to work on an individual basis as well as part of a team.
Excellent use of written and spoken English language.
Selfmotivated and confident organised practical and highly adaptable.
Desirable requirements for the job:

Previous experience with ADP payroll system
Previous experience with Timegate time and attendance system.
Previous experience with Sage 200 finance system.
Previous experience with Protean system.
