Job Description

In the role of a Head of Mechanical Design (m/f/d) you will drive the team working on mechanical design of STABL hardware from small plastic components to big container solutions. The unique STABL inverter technology needs outstanding functional and safe surroundings where you will deal with 3Dprinted components metal components sheetmetal design mechanical design and cabling as well as their corresponding drawings. The CAD software you will be using is SolidWorks.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for building the team of Mechanical Engineers.
  • Prepare technical drawings and schematics using 3DCAD models.
  • Manage cable routing and integration within mechanical systems.
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems with a focus on sheet metal applications.
  • Develop and design packaging solutions for various systems ensuring protection and compliance with industry standards.
  • Create detailed assembly instructions and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient assembly processes.
  • Conduct testing and validation of mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet design specifications and performance criteria.
  • Manage and coordinate all mechanical engineering efforts at STABL.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software specifically SolidWorks.
  • Experience with cable management and routing in mechanical designs.
  • Strong understanding of thermal management structural analysis and materials science.
  • Proficient with Sheet Metal Design.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to battery storage systems is desirable.
  • Good English and German knowledge.
