Permanent Job Position: Director of Pharmacy

Position Overview:

The Director of Pharmacy will oversee and manage all aspects of the pharmacy department in a healthcare facility in Elko NV. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations staff management and budget management. This is a fulltime permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all pharmacy operations including dispensing inventory management and compliance with state and federal regulations

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective pharmacy operations

Manage and lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians providing guidance training and performance evaluations

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use for patients

Monitor and analyze pharmacy financials including budgets expenses and revenue

Maintain and update pharmacy software systems and technology

Stay current on industry trends and regulations and make recommendations for process improvements

Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for pharmacy staff

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution

Active pharmacy license in the state of Nevada

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy operations with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role

Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced environment

Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology

Strong leadership and team management skills

Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals

Experience with budget management and financial analysis
