Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Hospital Risk Manager for our client a reputable healthcare facility located in Columbus GA. The Hospital Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the risk management program and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations

Conduct risk assessments and identify potential hazards and risks within the hospital

Collaborate with department heads and staff to ensure compliance with risk management protocols

Investigate and analyze incidents and accidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions

Develop and conduct training programs on risk management and safety protocols for employees

Monitor and track incidents and claims and report trends and recommendations to senior management

Serve as a liaison with insurance companies and legal counsel on risk management matters

Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to risk management and implement changes as necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in healthcare administration nursing or a related field

Minimum of 35 years of experience in risk management in a healthcare setting

Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to risk management and patient safety

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk management software

Contract Details:

This is a fulltime position with competitive salary and benefits. The contract details will be discussed during the interview process.

Location:

The Hospital Risk Manager will be based in Columbus GA and will be required to work onsite at the healthcare facility.
