IT PROJECT MANAGER

The Technology Project Manager will plan establish and manage information technology (IT) projects to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. The PM will also serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget schedule and scope of project.
• Coordinate effort to develop maintain and review proposals/RFP/RFQ for assigned projects including project objectives technologies systems information specifications timelines budgeting and staffing.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the timely execution of projects
• Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for projects risks such as unforeseen delays then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
• Establishes and implements project communication plans providing status updates and escalation to stakeholders.
• Collects analyzes and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation as per policy and guidelines
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer or Information Sciencerelated field required; Masters degree is an advantage.
• Have managed banking projects relating to core banking systems financing/Loan origination systems payment systems (e.g. SWIFT/RENTAS) and/or collection/recovery management system
• Familiarity with Silverlake core banking is an added advantage
• Certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP Prince2)
• Minimum ten (10) years of related experience required.
