Job Description

Job Title: Snowflake Tester
Interview: Virtual
Job Duration: 6 Months
Job Location: Remote

Required Skills:

  • 35 years of development experience with Snowflake DBT Python Java and VB Script.
  • Proficient in writing manual and automated test scripts using qTest.
  • Experience with Snowflake and DBT libraries to interface with qTest particularly with Python.
  • Ability to establish a repeatable testing process for moving data sets and dashboards into production.

Responsibilities:

  • The Developer will collaborate with the QA Test Manager to establish a testing process for the analytics team and potentially other related teams ensuring alignment with client standards.
  • The primary focus will be on analytics testing processes with the possibility of extending to other teams if time allows.
  • The goal is to enhance the analytics groups ability to reproduce validate and assess testing activities aligning with their test planning and execution procedures.
  • This effort aims to reduce manual effort improve accuracy and better support the solutions identification and build (SIB) testing plan and execution process.
