Job Description
As a staff accountant as SBG you will handle a range of financial tasks including managing accounts payable and receivable reconciling commissions preparing financial reports and ensuring accurate financial records.
How You ll Make an Impact
- Manage accounts payable functions including processing invoices verifying transactions reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies on time.
- Handle accounts receivable duties such as generating invoices posting payments tracking outstanding balances and following up on late payments.
- Calculate commission for payroll processing within set deadlines.
- Help maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Aid in the preparation of monthend and yearend closing procedures.
- Assist with the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary information and documentation.
- Prepare ACH transactions.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and participate in special projects as required.
- Complies with federal state and local financial legal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in accounting Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the accounting field.
- Proficiency in financial forecasting and analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel QuickBooks and Salesforce.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
