Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Georgia in search of a highly talented Risk Manager

Job Summary:

Plans implements directs evaluates and documents an integrated comprehensive proactive risk management program for all hospital and community based programs designed to monitor and when possible eliminate the risk of injury to patients visitors and employees and to protect the hospitals financial resources. Consults and assists external legal counsel for legal matters affecting the hospital. and its affiliated entities when warranted and justified. Responds to common inquiries or complaints from patients internal or external customers and regulatory agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

Bachelors degree required

Required Skills

Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:

Within 2 years of hire obtain CPHRM (Certified Professional in Health Care Risk Management) certification.

Paralegal certification is preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

Claims legal and risk acumen and knowledge experience
